I'll see what I have on hand, most of which I have sent to the rangers at Doughton National Park for their use in connection with the Brinegar cabin. My friend Amanda spends her summers as a ranger there, and her specialty is the cabin and its history, and the crafts, especially weaving, that people practiced in those days.Karen Packard Rhodeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07641711434283636830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5601084536508318012.post-66671382459766940752010-07-08T18:45:49.662-04:002010-07-08T18:45:49.662-04:00My name is John Brinegar, son of Henry Arthur Brin...My name is John Brinegar, son of Henry Arthur Brinegar, Jr. I never met my grandfather, Henry Arthur Brinegar, who died in 1989, in Madison, Indiana. My friend Amanda is a National Park Ranger at Doughton Park, and she spends most of her workdays in your great-grandparents' cabin there, doing demonstrations. She has had me research your family's genealogy for the Park Service, for their "Brinegar Days" celebration during the summer, and I am sure Amanda would be very pleased to hear from you.

Thanks again for commenting.Karen Packard Rhodeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07641711434283636830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5601084536508318012.post-67780442343166540342010-06-21T21:00:31.231-04:002010-06-21T21:00:31.231-04:00Hi, My name is Elaine Brinegar Wade. He was the youngest of John and Nannie's children. All of the Brinegar sons are now deceased. Kyle, their first born, was the last to die, I think 2004 or 2005.Can't remember the exact year. All children of the five boys are still living and reside in Wilkes, Caldwell and Iredell Counties in N.C. I live in Fayetteville, AR....a total of 11 children of their five deceased sons.Elaine Brinegar Wadenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5601084536508318012.post-76859556132881593112009-09-01T15:46:24.132-04:002009-09-01T15:46:24.132-04:00As a tax-payer, I thank you for your service! As a tax-payer, I thank you for your service!Julia, IBSSGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10860121049753322677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5601084536508318012.post-20128492503640030642009-08-06T20:12:18.181-04:002009-08-06T20:12:18.181-04:00How cool!
